QUF4328 – QUIKCONTROL® UNCOATED FIBERGLASS REPAIR TAPE

FEATURES:

• High mechanical properties when used with CorSmart Resin & Activator and/or with Fix ‘n’ Fast Bond Liquid Putty
• Easy wet out with epoxy, vinyl ester and polyester resins
• High strength and high fiber content

APPLICATION:

• The repair surface should be roughened and wiped clean
• Mix and stir CorSmart® Resin & Activator for at least 1 min until it is mixed well
• Apply one coat of activated resin evenly over the repaired area
• Measure & cut the required length of QuikControl® Uncoated fiberglass repair tape according to the dimensions of the repair area
• Place one layer of QuikControl® Uncoated fiberglass repair tape around the pipe
• Wet out the wrapped layer with the activated resin and wrap the layer as firm as possible
• Repeat the same process with the second layer and for more number of wraps/thickness (as per ASME calculations) to achieve the maximum strength for reinforcement
